Our lead creative and UX designer, Toby Burkill, is a D&AD Yellow Pencil winning designer with experience of a range of brands, projects and organisations.
A first class design graduate of the well-regarded Lincolnshire University School of Architecture & Design, Toby cut his designer teeth at Howies before heading to Raw in Manchester where creative highlights include a digital re-brand for James + Giles, a branding style guide for George Best and a series of sci-fi posters for HOME (formerly Cornerhouse) and the BFI.
Toby honed his digital design and UX skills whilst at the Co-operative bank, as part of the design team tasked with a £1m overhaul of the organisations website, utilising customer insights and data to augment his creativity.
Outside of work, Toby is constantly creating and tinkering with all things design and digital. He’s built (and pretty obsessed by!) an iphone-controlled motorised longboard and is currently designing / printing / building a futuristic 3D film prop for a crowdsourced sci-fi movie!
